Here comes the Coz: The local guy from Petaluma will be looking to set the stage on a great year in California
At 22, he has already been a pro for a staggering five years, yet few in America probably know his name. But that is all about to change. After an up-and-down 2007 for team Slipstream, Cozza is planning on having a big 2008---and beyond, for the argyle gang in blue and orange. Over the next few days and through the end of the Tour of California, I’ll be profiling, interviewing and covering Steve’s exploits in his home state’s Tour. Hailing from Petaluma, Steven will no doubt be looking to put in a solid early season effort on home turf with hopes of jumpstarting his and his team’s 2008 season.
Cozza's home roads are good for riding as well as growing some fine vino
Look for interviews leading up to the Tour and then extensive coverage during the race. I’ll be speaking with Steve before and after each stage, capturing his experiences inside the peloton each day, and increasing the frequency of my site updates to two a day instead of just once. A big thank you to Steve for his availability, I and all other cycling fans in America wish you the very best of luck in this year’s Tour of California. Also, you can now find other articles written by me at http://www.bicycle.net/. I’ll be contributing to their site for the Tour of California.
Ahhh, winter in Marin county, California
