2008 Cycling Lowlights: Worst Uniform, High Road/Columbia
The High Road uniform of the early season was an almost unanimous decision for worst uniform of the year. The rounded, 1980's letters were awful, as was the white top. Luckily, the clean stance that the team took throughout the year in regards to doping helped their cause, as did a mid-season switch to new sponsor Columbia. But even the new Columbia uniform was uninspired, especially considering that Columbia considers itself one of the foremost sports wear companies. You would have thought that they could have come up with a better uni than this.
Honorable mention for worst uniform of 2008 goes to Paolo Bettini's all white road champion kit. It is widely known that white shorts are a huge no no in cycling, but Paolo never got that memo. The usually suave Italian looked like an adult in diapers in his all white kit, and he somehow managed to make the coolest jersey in cycling, the rainbow of world champion, look lame. Hopefully Ballan will avoid the all white kit in 2009.

I dont'agree: I liked their uniform. In my opinion Silence Lotto was worse.
