New Criterium Set for Feb 14 in San Jose: Conflict with ToC?

Marketwatch is reporting on a new race in San Jose set for February 14. There is a pro crit scheduled, as well as several other amateur events. I love to hear about new races, but does this one have a chance to succeed? It is taking place the same day as the prologue of the Tour of California. Not only will many of America's best be at the ToC, but many fans will be also. I can't imagine that this race gets much press, which will hurt the overall success of the event. Hopefully I'll be wrong. Live strong is involved, which will help, but again, the ToC is going to suck some of the life out of this smaller criterium.
